The scene on the 2018 Bing & Grondahl Children’s Day plate is that of a boy, sitting on a dock, trying to catch a fish. Unfortunately, all he has caught is an old boot. The dog watches the events curiously, while in the background a sailboat approaches the Danish coastline. The Children’s Day plate is the 34th in the series and is designed by artist Sven Vestergaard.
