Details:
A sporty wool sweater knit with soft merino wool. It has ribbed openings at the sleeves and hem, and a wide round neckline. The Falkeberg can be worn both as a ski sweater and as a casual sweater.
Thick merino wool is prone to pilling. By air blowing the wool fibers into the core, this merino yarn can be knit with minimal pilling. You won’t find many thick and soft merino wool sweaters like this.
Design Notes:
This is a modernized interpretation of our Olympic sweater from the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. Falkeberget (1266 meters above sea level) is a mountain on Hardangervidda, south of Geilo.
