95341 Karmøy women’s wool sweater

The Karmøy wool sweater features a combination of cable knit and bold knit patterns based on the traditional Norwegian eight-petal rose. It is inspired by Irish Aran cable knit patterns. Ireland and Norway share a rich fishing tradition and heritage. Fittingly, the Karmøy sweater is named after an island off the west coast of Norway, known for its rich fishing heritage.  Karmøy is made with 100% lightweight wool and a revolutionary new treatment using natural non-toxic salts makes this wool sweater soft and machine washable. It has a crew neck lined with skin soft merino wool for extra comfort. The fit is casual and loose, and the construction differs somewhat from other garments in our collection: This sweater is linked together at the center cable pattern, front and back, leaving it with no side seams whatsoever.
