The Windstopper hoodie is a loose fitting outer layer, knit with 100% Norwegian wool - treated to be water repellent, and lined with a breathable windproof liner. Other notable features include: a half zip neck opening, two zippered front pockets, a roomy drawstring hood (lined with skin-soft merino wool for comfort), and a draw-cord in the hemline to keep the breeze out. A perfect companion for the great outdoors.
The Vail hoodie is made with Norwegian wool, one of the world’s most animal-friendly textile fibers. Dale of Norway's wool comes from sheep known for roaming freely in the vast Norwegian hillsides while grazing in natural pastures. This yarn offers an authentic look renowned for its uniquely crisp look and longevity.
Design Notes:
This windstopper hoodie was the official team sweater for the US Alpine- and Snowboard team during the 2006-07 season. It is an outer layer interpretation of a bestselling sweater ~ the Vail sweater. The Vail pattern was originally designed for the Alpine World Championships in Vail, Colorado.
