The History sweater is made of 100% Norwegian wool from the sheep’s very first shearing. The short fibers produce yarn that is fine and soft, which makes for a lightweight, warm and comfortable sweater. For extra comfort, the 1/4 zip neck is lined with soft merino wool. This sweater has a classic straight (or unisex) fit and is available in sizes XS - 2XL.
Design Notes:
This sweater is a tribute to Dale's Norwegian Olympic history. Ever since 1956 Dale has made official Olympic team sweaters for the National Norwegian Cross-Country ski team. To celebrate this impressive history, their design department made a pattern based on all 18 official team sweaters. Yes, you read that right: all 18 Olympic sweaters. One would think “great idea, but it won’t work”. Well, take a look for yourself. It really, really works!
