Placing an Order
We want you to feel as safe as possible buying through The Nordic Shop, so we offer three different ways to place an order:
- Ordering online: When you place an order through TheNordicShop.net you will find it safe, easy, and fast. You can make changes and review what you have entered nearly every step of the way. Available 24 hours a day.
- Call us: Our sales and service team is ready to place your order over the phone. You can reach us at 800-282-6673, Mon-Fri 9:30-8:00, Sat and Sun 12-5 CST.
- Mail-In Your Order: Please print your shopping cart and send it with your payment to us at the address below. Please include a contact phone number and/or email address so that we can contact you with any issues and shipping tracking information. Orders paid with a personal check or money order will remain on hold for 10 days to allow for the payment to clear. Orders placed with credit cards will be processed immediately.

Most Shipments are processed in 24 to 48 hrs from the time we receive the order. All shipments are sent with e-mail notification of UPS or USPS tracking services.
- Standard Shipping within USA: All Standard Shipping orders are shipped via USPS Priority Service with an e-mail as soon as your order has been shipped with tracking and delivery information.
- Priority Mail Delivery: Takes between 2-5 business days once your order has shipped. During the Christmas holidays please allow extra time. We will always send you an e-mail as soon as your order has been shipped with tracking information. The Nordic Shop is not responsible for USPS Priority Mail packages tracked and confirmed delivered but claimed not received by customer.
- Express Mail Delivery: Takes between 1-2 business days once your order has shipped. During the Christmas holidays please allow extra time. We will always send you an e-mail as soon as your order has been shipped with tracking information. The Nordic Shop is not responsible for USPS Express Mail packages tracked and confirmed delivered but claimed not received by customer.
- UPS 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air Saver delivery times are in addition to our normal 2-3 business days processing time.
Please Note: While in stock items are processed and delivered within 7-10 business days, some items and large quantity orders may require an additional ten days to two weeks of production time from the date of order receipt.
- International Orders: We ship regularly throughout Europe, Asia and North and South America. Please allow extra processing time of 3 to 5 business days for International Orders. Our international shipping rates include insurance coverage for any damage or breakage during transit. Please select the destination country during the check-out process and our Shipping Calculator will show you your selected shipping rate based on the Carrier selected. International orders are accepted at the discretion of the Web Manager. To be sure, please call or e-mail us for product availability to international addresses. International customers are responsible for any customs, duties and brokerage charges which may be imposed upon delivery. These charges may be collected when your order is delivered. Refused international orders will be considered abandoned property by the customer and per our international order policy no returns can be accepted or refunds provided.
- If the Shopping Cart does not display the correct International Shipping or if there is a question on shipping for an International Order or any other Standard Order please contact us and we can assist you with your order.
Shipping Rates are calculated for you by our Shipping Calculator based on the weight of the product(s) selected, delivery service selected and the shipping address.
Pricing and Sales Agreement
The Nordic Shop may on occasion offer special pricing or a gift with purchase promotion storewide or on select categories or brands. Often these special prices are incentives that are presented to our customers by a specific brand or assortment of products for a limited time. Please note that these promotions and sales are not valid on previous purchases.
Despite The Nordic Shop’s best efforts, a small number of items may be mispriced. If an item’s correct price is higher than the stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact the purchaser for instructions before shipping or cancel the order with notification. If the actual price is lower than printed we will use the lower price when filling the order.
When you click our “send order” button, we’ll send you an e-mail message acknowledging receipt of your order. Returns, Refunds or Cancellations
We want you to be completely satisfied with the products we sell at The Nordic Shop. The Nordic Shop offers a 30 day credit/exchange policy on all products except specially manufactured items (including large quantity orders of $1500 or more), and Christmas items. If you wish to return merchandise within the time-frame allowed we will exchange the product or credit the card used for the purchase promptly. Outgoing shipping fees are not refundable and will be deducted from the return credit. Please contact us before sending any returns for a Return Authorization Number. Items must be received by The Nordic Shop within 7 business days of receiving the return authorization. For Returns or Exchanges on International Orders please contact us immediately.

After your merchandise has been received in our warehouse, we will issue your credit or exchange your item within 5-7 business days.
The item(s) must be in the original packaging with the original tags attached and in new and unused condition. We can not accept any wearable items without their original tags attached and in new and unused condition. The exchange/credit process will begin once we receive the item(s). Please include a copy of the original invoice with written instructions. Please note that shipping costs are not refundable nor is The Nordic Shop responsible for return shipping.
Once an order is placed on our Site the product and shipping requests are submitted electronically to our warehouses for pick, pack and shipping and are therefore not able to be canceled once this process has begun.
The Nordic Shop accepts payments from all major credit cards via our secure connection or by fax and phone. The following is a description of steps we take to protect your information when ordering through The Nordic Shop Secure Socket Layer (SSL). The Nordic Shop follows all Current PCI Standards and uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information, such as financial services information or payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browsers window during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment. As a further Security Step we use Authorize.Net to handle all of your personal information. They are a leader in Security and Fraud Prevention The information you provide will be stored securely. Only an order notice is sent to us so we do not ever see your form of payment. The Authorize.Net Seal is displayed on our website to show their Security Compliance and to assure you of the safest shopping experience that we can provide.
In addition we offer you the opportunity to use PayPal for your checkout option. Many times especially for our Foreign customers this is an easier checkout option since it is uniquely setup for Foreign transactions.
Whichever method you choose you and your information are protected by industry leaders in internet security. We are notified by them of an order and only they have knowledge of your transaction. This Third Party Security process is in place to make your shopping more safe and secure.
The Nordic Shop will never sell or share your personal information with another business.
