This crystal art piece depicts the Norse god Odin as he appears in old Norse texts, one-eyed and long-bearded, and accompanied by his ravens, Huginn and Muninn, who bring him information from all over the world.
Known by many names, and commonly as the "Allfather", Odin had also fathered many sons within the Norse pantheon, the two most notable being Thor and Baldr. Commonly associated with war, battle and victory, Odin is also associated with knowledge, wisdom, poetry, and the runic alphabet. His name in the wider Germanic variation is also where we get the word "Wednesday" from.
