Dalestølen is a lightweight merino wool sweater based on the classic Cortina 1956 pattern. This is a sporty looking sweater with an athletic feminine cut and a structured 1/4 zip high neck. The simplicity in the pattern makes it easy to pair with a multitude of accessories. 

Design Notes:

The pattern design is from the original 1956 Cortina sweater – Dale of Norway's first ever Olympic sweater made for the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d’Ampezzo. The Cortina pattern captures the very essence of Norwegian tradition and has become one of Norway’s most beloved patterns. Dalestølen is named after a summer farm in the steep mountains surrounding Dale. In the old days, this farm served as summer pasture for cattle and sheep. Today, this is a popular destination for hiking as it offers great views over the mountainous Dale area.
