A heavy knit, yet lightweight rib knit sweater inspired by the classic fisherman’s sweater. The sweater features an oversized rib knit pattern, a crewneck with a rugged reversed knitted collar, and reversed seams on the shoulder. Made of 100% air-spun merino wool the Kvaløy offers a super soft feel and a hand knit look. The Kvaløy (“whale island”) is named after mainland Norway’s fifth largest island. The island is situated in North-Norway, known for its rich fishing traditions.
