This is the 3rd edition of the Stav Church Christmas Ornaments and features the Lillehammer Stav Church in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway. It was built around 1120, by order of King Olav when he brought Christianity to the Lom area.
In 1882, local farmers dismantled the church. It was not reassembled until 1920, at the Open Air Museum in Lillehammer called "Mai Haugen."
Each Limited Edition Ornament is made on a 2.5" flat porcelain disk and hand decorated in delicate Scandinavian Blue and White.
