It has buttons down the front and side panels that create a little bit of shape in the midsection. The detailed design of the Othelie cardigan is is a repeating pattern of the traditional Norwegian eight petal rose .

Othelie in translation, means "inheritance" or "wealth". It is linked to the Norwegian word "odel". The name comes from Old High German and was popular in Norway during the 1880s. (The short form of Othelie is Oda, a name that is still popular in Norway today).
