The Spirit Men's and Women's patterns are Norway’s official Olympic team sweater for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China. The design is a fusion of Chinese and Norwegian design elements, with a nod to Olympic history. The star pattern on the chest is a spin-off of the classic Norwegian eight-petal rose. The form is sharpened and almost crystallized, inspired by Chinese paper folding (called zhezhi) and Asian cartoons.
