The Utsira scarf is a 360 degree experience featuring a mix of historical Dale of Norway patterns. It is a tube shape with openings at both ends and one end is finished with a rib knit edging. A playful and practical piece that can be worn around the neck but when the weather shifts, it can also be pulled up over the head and worn as a hood.
Design Notes:
The detailed pattern is a mix of several historic Dale patterns. The tubular scarf takes its name from the island of Utsira, located in the North Sea, an hour's boat ride west of the Norwegian mainland. The small island, with just under 200 permanent residents, has become a mecca for colorful street art from all over the world.
