This marks the nineteenth year for the Stav Christmas Ornament. This year's collectible features the church at Flesberg, Numedal in Norway. It was probably built around 1200 A.D., with the first written reference to the church dating from 1359. Its treasure chest of ornamentation has slowly disappeared since that time, with the exception of the incredible Dragon Portal. A painting in the Baptismal Area dates back to 1701 and shows how the Flesberg church looked in its prime.
